Course Description

The Certificate in Parenting ADHD is designed to give parents, carers, and anyone in a parenting role the confidence, knowledge, and skills to raise and support a child with ADHD. Across eight modules, you will learn how ADHD works, how it shapes your child’s behaviour, emotions, and relationships, and how you can respond in ways that reduce stress and build connection.

You will explore everything from understanding the brain and managing emotional regulation to supporting executive function, working with the school system, handling challenging moments, and creating a home environment where your child can thrive. We will also look at family dynamics, building self-esteem, and supporting yourself as a parent or carer.

This is not about perfection or one-size-fits-all advice. It is about real, adaptable strategies and a mindset that helps you and your child feel understood, capable, and connected.
