Terms and Conditions of The Hub Membership
Introduction
Welcome to The Hub, a digital membership service offered by Liberation Academy Ltd (“Liberation Academy”). The Hub aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for personal growth and self-exploration through mental health education and community. These terms govern all use of The Hub membership platform. By joining, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Definitions
“Platform”: The online membership site located at hub.liberationacademy.co.uk.
“Content”: Any material posted by Liberation Academy or members, including but not limited to videos, worksheets, group calls, and recorded sessions.
“Membership”: The contractual access granted to users in exchange for payment, subject to these terms.
“User” or “Member”: Any paying individual using the platform.
Eligibility
Membership is available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By joining, members confirm that they are responsible for their own emotional well-being and fully understand that The Hub is not intended to be a substitute for therapy, psychological treatment, or professional advice.
Membership Agreement
By subscribing, members agree to these terms, including any future updates. Members must ensure the confidentiality of their login details and agree not to share access with others. If a Member is found to be sharing their login details, Liberation Academy reserves the right to terminate Membership without prior notice and without a refund for the remainder of the billing period.
Use of Recorded Content and Media Release
Consent to Recording: Members participating in group calls consent to being recorded for the purposes of sharing with other members.
Plus Members: Speakers during solution-focused coaching calls are required to use video and audio. All reasonable efforts will be made by Liberation Academy to remove video footage from recording prior to uploading to the platform.
Limited License: By participating, members grant Liberation Academy a non-exclusive, revocable license to display their recorded audio and video content on the platform, accessible only by paying members.
Social Media: Content containing audio and video of the host may be shared on social media platforms or in marketing materials. Any clips used for this purpose will not contain any audio or video of members without explicit permission.
Revocation and Privacy: Members may request the removal of specific recordings for privacy reasons, subject to Liberation Academy’s discretion.
Disclaimer of Liability: Members are solely responsible for content shared in sessions. Liberation Academy is not liable for any misuse or perceived misuse of member-provided content.
Nature of Services and Disclaimers
Not Therapy: The Hub is a community and educational service only. It does not replace therapy, psychological treatment, or medical advice.
No Guarantee of Results: Liberation Academy does not guarantee specific results or outcomes from membership participation.
Self-Responsibility: Members are responsible for their own commitment and engagement with the program. Any decisions made based on content or advice provided are at the members’ own risk.
Membership Fees and Payment Terms
Payment and Renewal: Membership fees are billed monthly. Pricing for the membership is as set on the Pricing page
Member-Initiated Cancellation: Members may cancel their membership at any time via the ‘Subscription’ menu on their dashboard. No refunds are available, and access will end at the conclusion of the current billing period.
Platform-Initiated Termination: Liberation Academy reserves the right to terminate any member’s account if they breach these terms. Such termination may occur without prior notice and without a refund for the remainder of the billing period.
Prohibited Conduct
Members agree to maintain a respectful and supportive environment on the platform. Any form of abuse, including but not limited to harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or intimidation of other users, is strictly prohibited. Liberation Academy reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including termination, for any violations of this conduct policy.
Limitation of Liability
No Liability for Emotional Outcomes: Liberation Academy, its operators, and affiliates are not liable for any emotional distress or negative experiences members may encounter.
Financial Liability: Liberation Academy’s financial liability is limited to the amount the member has paid for their subscription in the 12 months preceding a claim.
Indemnification: Members agree to indemnify Liberation Academy from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the platform, breach of terms, or participation in recorded sessions.
Intellectual Property
All content on the platform, excluding member-generated content, is the intellectual property of Liberation Academy. It may not be reproduced or shared outside the platform without explicit permission.

Expected Behaviour
Respect Others: Treat all members with kindness, patience, and respect. Healthy discussions are encouraged, but personal attacks, bullying, or discriminatory behaviour of any kind are not tolerated.
Confidentiality: What’s shared in The Hub stays in The Hub. This includes not sharing personal details, stories, screenshots, or any information about The Hub, its members, or its content on social media or any external platform. Respect everyone’s privacy.
Engage Positively: Participate in chats, boards, and live sessions with an open mind and a supportive attitude.
Be Constructive: Offer encouragement and solutions rather than criticism or negativity.
What Could Lead to Suspension
Disruptive Behaviour: Repeatedly interrupting live sessions, spamming chats, or engaging in behaviour that detracts from the group’s positive atmosphere.
Ignoring Warnings: Continuing behaviours that moderators or Helen have addressed with you directly.
What Could Lead to Membership Cancellation
Hate Speech or Harassment: Any form of hate speech, harassment, or abusive behaviour is grounds for immediate removal.
Breaching Confidentiality: Sharing sensitive or private community information, including Hub content, discussions, or member details, on social media or external platforms.
Persistent Violations: Repeatedly failing to adhere to the expected behaviour, despite warnings and suspensions.
